What we publish
Noor-e-Hikmat shares Islamic knowledge from the Quran and the authentic Sunnah in plain language. We name the source of what we publish, so that you can check it yourself.
Our sources
- Quran text: Tanzil Project (Uthmani script, Medina Mushaf) and the King Fahd Quran Printing Complex (IndoPak script). The text is shown exactly as published by these sources.
- Quran translations: Saheeh International (English) and Maulana Fateh Muhammad Jalandhari (Urdu). Word-by-word meanings: Quran.com.
- Hadith: each hadith names its collection and number, and its grading where known.
- Articles: each article lists the verses, hadith and books it relies on.
Not a fatwa service
We do not give personal religious rulings. For questions about your own situation, please consult a qualified scholar.
Differences of opinion
Where scholars of different schools of thought hold different valid positions, we try to present the range of views rather than one view as the only correct answer.
Corrections
