Al-Mursalaat

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ

1. 77:1

   وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ عُرْفًا ﴿١﴾

   وَالۡمُرۡسَلٰتِ عُرۡفًاۙ‏ ﴿١﴾

   1By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

2. 77:2

   فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصْفًا ﴿٢﴾

   فَالۡعٰصِفٰتِ عَصۡفًاۙ‏ ﴿٢﴾

   2And the winds that blow violently

3. 77:3

   وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا ﴿٣﴾

   وَّالنّٰشِرٰتِ نَشۡرًاۙ‏ ﴿٣﴾

   3And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

4. 77:4

   فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرْقًا ﴿٤﴾

   فَالۡفٰرِقٰتِ فَرۡقًاۙ‏ ﴿٤﴾

   4And those [angels] who bring criterion

5. 77:5

   فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا ﴿٥﴾

   فَالۡمُلۡقِيٰتِ ذِكۡرًاۙ‏ ﴿٥﴾

   5And those [angels] who deliver a message

6. 77:6

   عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا ﴿٦﴾

   عُذۡرًا اَوۡ نُذۡرًاۙ‏ ﴿٦﴾

   6As justification or warning

7. 77:7

   إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ ﴿٧﴾

   اِنَّمَا تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ لَوَاقِعٌؕ‏ ﴿٧﴾

   7Indeed, what you are promised is to occur

8. 77:8

   فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ ﴿٨﴾

   فَاِذَا النُّجُوۡمُ طُمِسَتۡۙ‏ ﴿٨﴾

   8So when the stars are obliterated

9. 77:9

   وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ ﴿٩﴾

   وَاِذَا السَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتۡۙ‏ ﴿٩﴾

   9And when the heaven is opened

10. 77:10

    وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ ﴿١٠﴾

    وَاِذَا الۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡۙ‏ ﴿١٠﴾

    10And when the mountains are blown away

11. 77:11

    وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ ﴿١١﴾

    وَاِذَا الرُّسُلُ اُقِّتَتۡؕ‏ ﴿١١﴾

    11And when the messengers' time has come

12. 77:12

    لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ ﴿١٢﴾

    لِاَيِّ يَوۡمٍ اُجِّلَتۡؕ‏ ﴿١٢﴾

    12For what Day was it postponed

13. 77:13

    لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ ﴿١٣﴾

    لِيَوۡمِ الۡفَصۡلِۚ‏ ﴿١٣﴾

    13For the Day of Judgement

14. 77:14

    وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ﴿١٤﴾

    وَمَا٘ اَدۡرٰىكَ مَا يَوۡمُ الۡفَصۡلِؕ‏ ﴿١٤﴾

    14And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement

15. 77:15

    وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿١٥﴾

    وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَئِذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ ﴿١٥﴾

    15Woe, that Day, to the deniers

16. 77:16

    أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿١٦﴾

    اَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَؕ‏ ﴿١٦﴾

    16Did We not destroy the former peoples

17. 77:17

    ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ ﴿١٧﴾

    ثُمَّ نُتۡبِعُهُمُ الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَ ﴿١٧﴾

    17Then We will follow them with the later ones

18. 77:18

    كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ﴿١٨﴾

    كَذٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِالۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَ ﴿١٨﴾

    18Thus do We deal with the criminals

19. 77:19

    وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿١٩﴾

    وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَئِذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ ﴿١٩﴾

    19Woe, that Day, to the deniers

    77:20

    أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ ﴿٢٠﴾

    اَلَمۡ نَخۡلُقۡكُّمۡ مِّنۡ مَّآءٍ مَّهِيۡنٍۙ‏ ﴿٢٠﴾

    20Did We not create you from a liquid disdained

21. 77:21

    فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ ﴿٢١﴾

    فَجَعَلۡنٰهُ فِيۡ قَرَارٍ مَّكِيۡنٍۙ‏ ﴿٢١﴾

    21And We placed it in a firm lodging

22. 77:22

    إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ ﴿٢٢﴾

    اِلٰي قَدَرٍ مَّعۡلُوۡمٍۙ‏ ﴿٢٢﴾

    22For a known extent

23. 77:23

    فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَـٰدِرُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾

    فَقَدَرۡنَاࣗۖ فَنِعۡمَ الۡقٰدِرُوۡنَ ﴿٢٣﴾

    23And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine

24. 77:24

    وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٢٤﴾

    وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَئِذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ ﴿٢٤﴾

    24Woe, that Day, to the deniers

25. 77:25

    أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا ﴿٢٥﴾

    اَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ الۡاَرۡضَ كِفَاتًاۙ‏ ﴿٢٥﴾

    25Have We not made the earth a container

26. 77:26

    أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا ﴿٢٦﴾

    اَحۡيَآءً وَّاَمۡوَاتًاۙ‏ ﴿٢٦﴾

    26Of the living and the dead

27. 77:27

    وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا ﴿٢٧﴾

    وَّجَعَلۡنَا فِيۡهَا رَوَاسِيَ شٰمِخٰتٍ وَّاَسۡقَيۡنٰكُمۡ مَّآءً فُرَاتًاؕ‏ ﴿٢٧﴾

    27And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water

28. 77:28

    وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٢٨﴾

    وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَئِذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ ﴿٢٨﴾

    28Woe, that Day, to the deniers

29. 77:29

    ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿٢٩﴾

    اِنۡطَلِقُوۡ٘ا اِلٰي مَا كُنۡتُمۡ بِهٖ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَۚ‏ ﴿٢٩﴾

    29[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny

30. 77:30

    ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبٍ ﴿٣٠﴾

    اِنۡطَلِقُوۡ٘ا اِلٰي ظِلٍّ ذِيۡ ثَلٰثِ شُعَبٍۙ‏ ﴿٣٠﴾

    30Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

31. 77:31

    لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ ﴿٣١﴾

    لَّا ظَلِيۡلٍ وَّلَا يُغۡنِيۡ مِنَ اللَّهَبِؕ‏ ﴿٣١﴾

    31[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame

32. 77:32

    إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ ﴿٣٢﴾

    اِنَّهَا تَرۡمِيۡ بِشَرَرٍ كَالۡقَصۡرِۚ‏ ﴿٣٢﴾

    32Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress

33. 77:33

    كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ ﴿٣٣﴾

    كَاَنَّهٗ جِمٰلَتٌ صُفۡرٌؕ‏ ﴿٣٣﴾

    33As if they were yellowish [black] camels

34. 77:34

    وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٣٤﴾

    وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَئِذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ ﴿٣٤﴾

    34Woe, that Day, to the deniers

35. 77:35

    هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ﴿٣٥﴾

    هٰذَا يَوۡمُ لَا يَنۡطِقُوۡنَۙ‏ ﴿٣٥﴾

    35This is a Day they will not speak

36. 77:36

    وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ ﴿٣٦﴾

    وَلَا يُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَيَعۡتَذِرُوۡنَ ﴿٣٦﴾

    36Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse

37. 77:37

    وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٣٧﴾

    وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَئِذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ ﴿٣٧﴾

    37Woe, that Day, to the deniers

38. 77:38

    هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿٣٨﴾

    هٰذَا يَوۡمُ الۡفَصۡلِۚ جَمَعۡنٰكُمۡ وَالۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ ﴿٣٨﴾

    38This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples

39. 77:39

    فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ ﴿٣٩﴾

    فَاِنۡ كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَيۡدٌ فَكِيۡدُوۡنِ ﴿٣٩﴾

    39So if you have a plan, then plan against Me

40. 77:40

    وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٠﴾

    وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَئِذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَࣖ‏ ﴿٤٠﴾

    40Woe, that Day, to the deniers

41. 77:41

    إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ ﴿٤١﴾

    اِنَّ الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ فِيۡ ظِلٰلٍ وَّعُيُوۡنٍۙ‏ ﴿٤١﴾

    41Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

42. 77:42

    وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ ﴿٤٢﴾

    وَّفَوَاكِهَ مِمَّا يَشۡتَهُوۡنَؕ‏ ﴿٤٢﴾

    42And fruits from whatever they desire

43. 77:43

    كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٤٣﴾

    كُلُوۡا وَاشۡرَبُوۡا هَنِيۡٓـًٔاۭ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿٤٣﴾

    43[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do

44. 77:44

    إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴿٤٤﴾

    اِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ ﴿٤٤﴾

    44Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good

45. 77:45

    وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٥﴾

    وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَئِذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ ﴿٤٥﴾

    45Woe, that Day, to the deniers

46. 77:46

    كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ ﴿٤٦﴾

    كُلُوۡا وَتَمَتَّعُوۡا قَلِيۡلًا اِنَّكُمۡ مُّجۡرِمُوۡنَ ﴿٤٦﴾

    46[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals

47. 77:47

    وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٧﴾

    وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَئِذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ ﴿٤٧﴾

    47Woe, that Day, to the deniers

48. 77:48

    وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ ﴿٤٨﴾

    وَاِذَا قِيۡلَ لَهُمُ ارۡكَعُوۡا لَا يَرۡكَعُوۡنَ ﴿٤٨﴾

    48And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow

49. 77:49

    وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٩﴾

    وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَئِذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ ﴿٤٩﴾

    49Woe, that Day, to the deniers

50. 77:50

    فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿٥٠﴾

    فَبِاَيِّ حَدِيۡثٍۭ بَعۡدَهٗ يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَࣖ‏ ﴿٥٠﴾
