Al-A'laa

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ

1. 87:1

   سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى ﴿١﴾

   سَبِّحِ اسۡمَ رَبِّكَ الۡاَعۡلَيۙ‏ ﴿١﴾

   1Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High

2. 87:2

   ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ ﴿٢﴾

   الَّذِيۡ خَلَقَ فَسَوّٰيࣕۙ‏ ﴿٢﴾

   2Who created and proportioned

3. 87:3

   وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ ﴿٣﴾

   وَالَّذِيۡ قَدَّرَ فَهَدٰيࣕۙ‏ ﴿٣﴾

   3And who destined and [then] guided

4. 87:4

   وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ ﴿٤﴾

   وَالَّذِيۡ٘ اَخۡرَجَ الۡمَرۡعٰيࣕۙ‏ ﴿٤﴾

   4And who brings out the pasture

5. 87:5

   فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ ﴿٥﴾

   فَجَعَلَهٗ غُثَآءً اَحۡوٰيؕ‏ ﴿٥﴾

   5And [then] makes it black stubble

6. 87:6

   سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ ﴿٦﴾

   سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنۡسٰ٘يۙ‏ ﴿٦﴾

   6We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget

7. 87:7

   إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ ﴿٧﴾

   اِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللّٰهُؕ اِنَّهٗ يَعۡلَمُ الۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفٰيؕ‏ ﴿٧﴾

   7Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden

8. 87:8

   وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ ﴿٨﴾

   وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرٰيۚۖ‏ ﴿٨﴾

   8And We will ease you toward ease

9. 87:9

   فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ ﴿٩﴾

   فَذَكِّرۡ اِنۡ نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكۡرٰيؕ‏ ﴿٩﴾

   9So remind, if the reminder should benefit

10. 87:10

    سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ ﴿١٠﴾

    سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنۡ يَّخۡشٰيۙ‏ ﴿١٠﴾

    10He who fears [Allah] will be reminded

11. 87:11

    وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى ﴿١١﴾

    وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الۡاَشۡقَيۙ‏ ﴿١١﴾

    11But the wretched one will avoid it

12. 87:12

    ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ ﴿١٢﴾

    الَّذِيۡ يَصۡلَي النَّارَ الۡكُبۡرٰيۚ‏ ﴿١٢﴾

    12[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire

13. 87:13

    ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ ﴿١٣﴾

    ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوۡتُ فِيۡهَا وَلَا يَحۡيٰيؕ‏ ﴿١٣﴾

    13Neither dying therein nor living

14. 87:14

    قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ ﴿١٤﴾

    قَدۡ اَفۡلَحَ مَنۡ تَزَكّٰيۙ‏ ﴿١٤﴾

    14He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself

15. 87:15

    وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ ﴿١٥﴾

    وَذَكَرَ اسۡمَ رَبِّهٖ فَصَلّٰيؕ‏ ﴿١٥﴾

    15And mentions the name of his Lord and prays

    87:16

    بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا ﴿١٦﴾

    بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُوۡنَ الۡحَيٰوةَ الدُّنۡيَاۙ‏ ﴿١٦﴾

    16But you prefer the worldly life

17. 87:17

    وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ ﴿١٧﴾

    وَالۡاٰخِرَةُ خَيۡرٌ وَّاَبۡقٰيؕ‏ ﴿١٧﴾

    17While the Hereafter is better and more enduring

18. 87:18

    إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ﴿١٨﴾

    اِنَّ هٰذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الۡاُوۡلٰيۙ‏ ﴿١٨﴾

    18Indeed, this is in the former scriptures

19. 87:19

    صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ ﴿١٩﴾

    صُحُفِ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَمُوۡسٰيࣖ‏ ﴿١٩﴾
