Al-Inshiqaaq

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ

1. 84:1

   إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنشَقَّتْ ﴿١﴾

   اِذَا السَّمَآءُ انۡشَقَّتۡۙ‏ ﴿١﴾

   1When the sky has split [open]

2. 84:2

   وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ ﴿٢﴾

   وَاَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡۙ‏ ﴿٢﴾

   2And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]

3. 84:3

   وَإِذَا ٱلْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ ﴿٣﴾

   وَاِذَا الۡاَرۡضُ مُدَّتۡؕ‏ ﴿٣﴾

   3And when the earth has been extended

4. 84:4

   وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ ﴿٤﴾

   وَاَلۡقَتۡ مَا فِيۡهَا وَتَخَلَّتۡۙ‏ ﴿٤﴾

   4And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it]

5. 84:5

   وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ ﴿٥﴾

   وَاَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡؕ‏ ﴿٥﴾

   5And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]

6. 84:6

   يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَـٰقِيهِ ﴿٦﴾

   يٰ٘اَيُّهَا الۡاِنۡسَانُ اِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ اِلٰي رَبِّكَ كَدۡحًا فَمُلٰقِيۡهِۚ‏ ﴿٦﴾

   6O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it

7. 84:7

   فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ ﴿٧﴾

   فَاَمَّا مَنۡ اُوۡتِيَ كِتٰبَهٗ بِيَمِيۡنِهٖۙ‏ ﴿٧﴾

   7Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand

8. 84:8

   فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا ﴿٨﴾

   فَسَوۡفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَّسِيۡرًاۙ‏ ﴿٨﴾

   8He will be judged with an easy account

9. 84:9

   وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا ﴿٩﴾

   وَّيَنۡقَلِبُ اِلٰ٘ي اَهۡلِهٖ مَسۡرُوۡرًاؕ‏ ﴿٩﴾

   9And return to his people in happiness

10. 84:10

    وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهْرِهِۦ ﴿١٠﴾

    وَاَمَّا مَنۡ اُوۡتِيَ كِتٰبَهٗ وَرَآءَ ظَهۡرِهٖۙ‏ ﴿١٠﴾

    10But as for he who is given his record behind his back

11. 84:11

    فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُوا۟ ثُبُورًا ﴿١١﴾

    فَسَوۡفَ يَدۡعُوۡا ثُبُوۡرًاۙ‏ ﴿١١﴾

    11He will cry out for destruction

12. 84:12

    وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا ﴿١٢﴾

    وَّيَصۡلٰي سَعِيۡرًاؕ‏ ﴿١٢﴾

    12And [enter to] burn in a Blaze

13. 84:13

    إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِىٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا ﴿١٣﴾

    اِنَّهٗ كَانَ فِيۡ٘ اَهۡلِهٖ مَسۡرُوۡرًاؕ‏ ﴿١٣﴾

    13Indeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness

14. 84:14

    إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ ﴿١٤﴾

    اِنَّهٗ ظَنَّ اَنۡ لَّنۡ يَّحُوۡرَۚۛ‏ ﴿١٤﴾

    14Indeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allah]

15. 84:15

    بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرًا ﴿١٥﴾

    بَلٰ٘يۚۛ اِنَّ رَبَّهٗ كَانَ بِهٖ بَصِيۡرًاؕ‏ ﴿١٥﴾

    15But yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing

16. 84:16

    فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ ﴿١٦﴾

    فَلَا٘ اُقۡسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِۙ‏ ﴿١٦﴾

    16So I swear by the twilight glow

17. 84:17

    وَٱلَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ ﴿١٧﴾

    وَالَّيۡلِ وَمَا وَسَقَۙ‏ ﴿١٧﴾

    17And [by] the night and what it envelops

18. 84:18

    وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ ﴿١٨﴾

    وَالۡقَمَرِ اِذَا اتَّسَقَۙ‏ ﴿١٨﴾

    18And [by] the moon when it becomes full

19. 84:19

    لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٍ ﴿١٩﴾

    لَتَرۡكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنۡ طَبَقٍؕ‏ ﴿١٩﴾

    19[That] you will surely experience state after state

20. 84:20

    فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿٢٠﴾

    فَمَا لَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَۙ‏ ﴿٢٠﴾

    20So what is [the matter] with them [that] they do not believe

21. 84:21

    وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ۩ ﴿٢١﴾

    وَاِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيۡهِمُ الۡقُرۡاٰنُ لَا يَسۡجُدُوۡنَࣛؕ‏ ﴿٢١﴾

    ۩ Verse of prostration (sajdah)

    21And when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah]

22. 84:22

    بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾

    بَلِ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا يُكَذِّبُوۡنَؗۖ‏ ﴿٢٢﴾

    22But those who have disbelieved deny

23. 84:23

    وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾

    وَاللّٰهُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يُوۡعُوۡنَؗۖ‏ ﴿٢٣﴾

    23And Allah is most knowing of what they keep within themselves

24. 84:24

    فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ﴿٢٤﴾

    فَبَشِّرۡهُمۡ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِيۡمٍۙ‏ ﴿٢٤﴾

    24So give them tidings of a painful punishment

25. 84:25

    إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۭ ﴿٢٥﴾

    اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمۡ اَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُوۡنٍࣖ‏ ﴿٢٥﴾

    25Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted
